This DIY pop-up Magnum store has opened in Westfield Sydney

If you’ve been forgoing icy cold desserts for more warming winter treats, now is the time to get serious about your frozen treats, because the Magnum Pleasure Store (it’s not as raunchy as it sounds) is only open for three more weeks. It’s a pop-up dessert factory that lets you choose your own adventure through the world of ice cream. You’ll get to craft a Magnum tailored to your own tastes, from the smooth chocolate coating that this treat is so well known for, right up to the topping where you can choose experimental flavours like Persian fairy floss, rose petals, crisp strawberry pearls and more

Want to know how it works before you visit so you can plan out the perfect stick of ice cream? You start with the base coat: choose from a creamy milk chocolate layer, a bitey dark choc casing, a smooth white choccy suit of armour, or a double dipped milk and white choc combo. Then, get serious about the toppings. Your $10 treat includes three toppings (additional sprinklings cost $1) with a choice of familiar ice cream extras like almonds, brownie chunks, crushed honeycomb and chocolate flakes, plus more unusual toppings like edible gold flakes, rose petals and fairy floss. Finish it with yet more chocolate drizzled over the top and you’re sorted.
