Time Out says

Sarah Blasko and Jean Kittson headline this worldwide storytelling event coming to Sydney as part of Antidote Festival

Paying homage to the lost art of letter writing, Women of Letters brings artists, writers and activists together to pen a letter on a chosen subject and read it aloud to an audience.

The touring event, which has been playing to sell out audiences across the world since 2010, will be taking to the Sydney Opera House stage as part of Antidote Festival.

Co-curated by Angie Hart and Marieke Hardy, this edition of Women of Letters will feature singer-songwriter Sarah Blasko, star of the outback thriller Mystery Road Tasma Walton, comedy performer and writer Jean Kittson, as well as journalist and author of Beyond Veiled Cliches: the Real Lives of Arab Women, Amal Awad.

This intimate and powerful evening of storytelling will see the performers penning ‘a letter to the time I was brave’.
