Always been curious about where the high rollers and power players crash in Sydney? Booking.com has some of the most lavish accommodation available in the city on their books, and here they give us a sneak peek into the decadent hotel suites boasting the panoramic harbour views and breathtaking vistas that make these suites world class.

The spectacular Sydney Suite at Sydney’s Park Hyatt is a favourite amongst the city’s most affluent visitors. Contemporary luxury is the watchword in this 350sqm suite, which features an architecturally designed bathroom and a private terrace boasting views out over the Sydney Opera House, the Harbour Bridge and the blue expanse of the harbour. During your stay you'll have access to a 24-hour butler (time to start living out those Bruce Wayne fantasies) and a concierge service from the hotel’s most experienced staff. Costing a whopping $17,000 per night, this suite is reserved for a small handful of the city’s most discerning travellers.

Located on level 29 of the InterContinental Sydney, which is housed in a historic 19th-century building in the Central Business District of Sydney, The Australia Suite boasts panoramic harbour views from all its rooms. That includes the open-air terrace and dining area, spacious living area and dining room with grand piano for when you're feeling musical. There's also a fully equipped kitchen, an ensuite bathroom and a walk in wardrobe. From your peerless location, you also have Circular Quay and the majesty of the Royal Botanic Gardens moments from your doorstep.

Don't pretend you haven't always been curious about the famed Presidential Suite at the Four Seasons Hotel. In Sydney it features two spacious bedrooms and the kind of breathtaking views out over Sydney Harbour that can only be achieved on the 34th floor of this luxury hotel at Circular Quay. Guests in this suite enjoy access to the Executive Club, including a daily, hot buffet breakfast, all-day refreshments, garment pressing and business services.

You know the mark of a seriously high-end hotel is when even the bath has incredible views. In the Hilton’s Master Suite the freestanding spa looks out over the city, as does the king sized bedroom and living room furnished with leather lounges and a marble dining table - we're talking aspirational hotel luxury, here. As arguably one of the most famous hotel names in the business, Hilton's reputation was built on the attention to detail that ensures their Master suite is fit for a Royal, should they be in town.

You could shell out for a night in a New York penthouse overlooking Central Park, or you could treat yourself to the ultimate staycation in Sydney, with the Royal Suite at Sheraton on the Park. The suite is taking its cues from the grandeur of the Big Apple's famous penthouse apartments with floor-to-ceiling windows and private terraces that look out of the lush, green expanse of Hyde Park. Sure, it's a cool $5000 a night to for all this modern opulence, but once you factor in flights, we reckon you'll be in the black.
