Tampa Bay Fair Food says
Hop on the Tampa Bay bus to Palm Beach so together we can call on Wendy's Board Chairman Nelson Peltz to support FL farmworkers by joing the Fair Food Program!

Snacks, as well as lunch will be provided for everyone. A sliding scale donation of $10-$50 would be greatly appreciated (no one will be turned away for lack of funds).

The bus pick up spot is in Tampa at First United Church of Tampa, 7308 E. Fowler Ave. at 8am. They have free parking, where people can leave their cars. But if a significant amount of the participants will be coming from St Pete, and the one pickup location in Tampa would prevent them from coming, we can set up a pickup location in St Pete as well. The bus will return at 10pm.

On Saturday, March 12, farmworkers and their Florida allies will converge in Palm Beach, FL for the final stop of the Coalition of Immokalee Workers' (CIW) 2016 Workers' Voice Tour. Together, we will call on Wendy's Board Chairman and major shareholder, Nelson Peltz, to suport farmworkers' human rights and bring the final fast food holdout to the Fair Food Program!

For over three years, the Fair Food Nation has publicly called on Wendy's to become part of an industry that hears, respects- and gives a rightful, dignified place to- workers' voices. Despite countless actions taken to bring the burger chain to the negotiating-table, Wendy's remains the only major fast food company still refusing to commit to human rights for famrworkers.

This year, CIW allies in Tampa Bay will be hopping on a bus to participate in the final march of the Workers' Voice Tour. Join us in Palm Beach on March 12 to take action for farmworker justice by calling on Wendy's to be part of the Fair Food Program!
