The Art of Meditation
Saturday and Sunday | 11:30am - 1:00pm
All of us have to deal with our own minds. All our challenges and pains are ultimately coming from our mind. Yet, how much do we really know about this mind? If we want to solve our conflicts and overcome our pains we have to find the tools to work with the mind directly. The practice of meditation in its different forms is like an internal laboratory which is used for research into our own minds. In this unique talk Swami Kashi, who is a monk from the Himalayas, will discuss this most important topic and provide us with a better and deeper understanding of our own minds.

Understanding the Bhagavad Gita
Saturday and Sunday | 2:00pm - 3:30pm
The Bhagavad Gita is the most celebrated Yogic text, fondly known as 'The Bible of the Yogis'. It is in the form of a dialog between Krishna as a teacher and Arjuna as his disciple. The Bhagavad Gita is part of a great Hindu epic called the Mahabharata, which tells the story of a conflict within a royal family. The dialog of Krishna and Arjuna is taking place in the most unusual place, the battlefield, which symbolizes the inner battle within each of us between our higher and lower natures. The Bhagavad Gita is discussing a variety of topics which are as relevant today as they were five thousand years ago when they are believed to be spoken. Join us to a fascinating talk on this sacred text with Swami Kashi who is coming for a short visit from India.

Swami Kashi is a Western born Swami (Indian monk) who has been living in the Himalayas since the year 2,000.
