Monday, April 6th, USF Week is proud to present a performing arts festival that is the first of its kind. This festival will feature collaborative and solo performances from the School of Music. School of Theater and Dance, and some of Tampa's finest local musicians.

11:00 – Opening Ceremony – Hosted by the Centre Gallery

11:30 – Currentz – Currentz, one of Tampa’s hottest great young acts, was created on the foundation of Roots Reggae set in the foundation of an improvisational medium. Everyone in the group met spontaneously during open jams around the Tampa Bay/ St. Petersburg area.

12:15 – USF Improv Collective –This group is sponsored by The College of Arts Council, and will feature skilled performers from the disciplines of classical and modern dance, jazz, and rock music.

1:00 – USF Student Theater Production Board Presents: Student Work

1:30 – Andrew Sestok and Friends – One of Tampa’s warmest and inviting new sounds, the improvisational acoustic guitar of Andrew Sestok, will be joined by a wide range of musical voices for a great jam.

2:00 – Dirty Dancing with USF School of Dance and Special Musical Guests

2:30 – USF Student Theater Production Board Presents: Sonder

3:00 – Josh Paul - Local songwriter, teacher, and all around consummate musician, Josh Paul, is excited share his solo work as a part of the Spring Performing Arts Festival.

3:30 – NMC finale - The New-Music Consortium is a student-run organization at the University of South Florida which produces performances of new music at the USF School of Music and throughout the local community. Come join the NMC for the festival’s closing ceremony in the Centre Gallery.
