Celebrating a decade since it opened inside Tokyo Midtown, the Suntory Museum of Art now shines a strong spotlight on one very specific item: the 'sacred treasure box' after which this exhibition is named is a 13th-century accessory case with a fusenryo flower seal design, crafted when Kamakura was still the seat of power in Japan. Carefully restored for the first time in 50 years, it's being put back on display along with a range of related accessories and antique daily essentials collected from shrines around Japan.
