David Lynch

Six years after the release of Inland Empire, David Lynch doesn't seem to be any closer to making another film, but he's been keeping himself busy all the same – whether releasing his first solo album (last year's patchy Crazy Clown Time), directing a live Duran Duran concert broadcast, appearing on Family Guy spin-off The Cleveland Show or getting his own line of Uniqlo T-shirts. You can see another, emphatically un-filmic side of Lynch at Shibuya Hikarie's in-house art gallery this summer, in an exhibition of the auteur's recent oil paintings, watercolours and lithographs.
