Shimane prefecture's Iwami Art Museum boasts one of the most extensive fashion collections in Japan – fittingly enough, as Iwami City is also the birthplace of iconic designer Hanae Mori. Sparing history-conscious fashionistas a trip to the far west, Panasonic's Shiodome Museum now brings the best of the Iwami trove to Tokyo for this exhibition, which explores how the many dramatic social and political revolutions of the 20th century impacted fashion and interior decoration.
