The Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo gives some generous exposure to Francis Alÿs this spring and summer, with two shows devoted to the oeuvre of the Belgian-born, Mexico-based conceptual artist. The first, Mexico Survey, gives an overview of around 15 of his projects to date, focussing mainly on video art but with additional works from a range of media including photography, painting and sculpture. It's followed by an exhibition of Alÿs' latest project, Gibraltar Focus, which starts on June 29.
