Music photographer Maki Ishii went far beyond her comfort zone in the aftermath of 3.11, travelling across Tohoku for over three years to document both the destruction left behind by the tsunami and the region's recovery efforts. Released in November 2014, her photo book 'Letters from 3.11 / The Voice of Sound' has been an unexpected hit, and retains its importance even now, almost five years after the disaster. Take a good luck at her shots and audiovisual pieces in January at this exhibit.
