Founded by entrepreneur and former Kofuku Bank headman Tokusuke Egawa to house his and his illustrious family's private collection, the Egawa Museum in Hyogo prefecture's Nishinomiya is known for its enviable trove of tea utensils. This exhibit at Shibuya's Shoto Museum displays 135 highlights from the Egawa collection, including art from the Heian era all the way up to modernity.
