Time Out says

If the March 11 disaster and its aftermath were horrific for grown-ups, it's hard to imagine what they must have been like for the children. NGO Plan Japan has hit on a novel way of helping kids in the worst-affected areas come to terms with the tragedy: by equipping them with cameras and getting them to document things on the ground, as well as look for signs of a more hopeful future. 56 students from elementary schools in the devastated towns of Onagawamachi and Ishinomaki have been working under the guidance of a pro photographer, and you can see some of their snaps at this one-day exhibition, held on the six-month anniversary of the quake and tsunami.
