Time Out says

Since September last year, a ragtag bunch of photographers has been making periodic trips to tsunami-hit towns in Tohoku with what might seem like a curious mission: to make family photo albums. Using instant film and photo albums donated by Fujifilm, they've taken pictures of over 150 families in places like Ishinomaki and Shinichi, helping them replace one of the seemingly irreplaceable things lost in the disaster. You can see some of the Photohoku project's work at this three-day exhibition at 3331 Arts Chiyoda – and also share some Tohoku saké with the photographers involved at the opening reception, from 6pm-8pm on Friday evening.
