Ryan McGinley: Reach Out, I'm Right Here

Ryan McGinley is doing double duty in Tokyo this September, with two shows running simultaneously at Tomio Koyama Gallery and its sister venue in Shibuya Hikarie. While the latter's Animals exhibition finds the photographer experimenting with studio portraits of man and beast, Reach Out, I'm Right Here draws on a more familiar side of his oeuvre. The pictures on display were shot during a roadtrip around the US in 2007, featuring the artist's friends posing naked in unusual – and often spectacular – situations. Opening reception on September 1, 6-8pm.
