It's been four and a half years since Seiichi Yamamoto's ceramics were last exhibited in Tokyo. While perhaps best known as the guitarist for noise-rockers Boredoms and as the co-founder of Rovo, Yamamoto is a true renaissance man, also dabbling in writing, directing and pottery. The pieces on display at Ikebukuro's Popotame range from cups to painted vessels and chopstick rests, while small bowls with original illustrations will also be on display (and for sale). Talks and gigs are scheduled as well, so you might see Yamamoto the musician make an appearance, too.
