Having started his career in Bristol in the mid-'90s, British painter and occasional DJ Steff Plaetz is known for his distinctive 'freehand' approach to stencil art. He's worked with top musicians like REM's Michael Stipe and Ian Brown of the Stone Roses in the past, and draws on dystopian sci-fi and urban landscapes in his colourful, dynamic pieces, which can now be viewed up close at Tabata's Wish Less. The action kicks off with a DJ-powered opening party on December 3 (from 6pm), when the artist himself will also be in attendance.
