Yokohama Triennale 2014

The Yokohama Triennale art festival takes place between August 1 and November 3, and gives the entire host city a boost in creative activities and artistic expression. Yasumasa Morimura – an artist renowned for depicting himself through the medium of famous paintings – will take over as artistic director. The Yokohama Museum functions as the main venue, while the exhibition continues at Shinko Pier and in the historical buildings and waterfront studios around the area.
