Asagaya Nomiya Festival 2011

It's not like we needed an excuse to go exploring the alcohol-sodden streets and alleyways of Asagaya, but it's nice to have one all the same. The ¥4,000 ticket for this year's Nomiya Festival entitles bar crawlers to a complimentary drink at some 40-odd watering holes in the area, plus a quick bite to eat (valid for a total of two dishes). Tickets are available in advance at participating venues, and will be sold at booths at Asagaya and Minami-Asagaya stations during the festival itself.
