Alien Radio Vol. 2

Sound Museum Vision hosts a titanic techno clash this weekend, as veteran DJ Dave Clarke rubs shoulders with one of the acts he's been championing recently: Black Asteroid, the alter ego of former Prince sound designer (and current Motor member) Bryan Black. You don't have to look hard to find people who'll insist that Clarke has fallen a long way from his superstar DJ heights of the late '90s and early '00s, but on a good night he's still pretty damn convincing – as was his contribution to the Fabric mix series last year. Meanwhile, the dark, synth-heavy stormers on Black Asteroid's Asteroid EP suggest that his live set should be a real treat.
