If the best thing that's happened to you over the past month was receiving news that the Stone Roses were getting back together, there's only one place to be this weekend. Acid house and Madchester night Control celebrates its first anniversary with a move from Shibuya's Trump House to the larger Trump Room, where they'll have DJs and bands playing across all three floors. Dedicated Anglophiles The Brixton Academy and Plastizooms are playing live, though they risk being overshadowed by Japanese Stone Roses tribute band Spike Island, who are making a rare appearance for the occasion. Guest spinners include Metamorphose founder DJ Mayuri, Tokyo Dandy, P.O.L Style and Harajuku snapper Yasumasa Yonehara – who's apparently a dedicated acid house head.
