Freaks Village 2011

New outdoor dance party Freaks Music Festival drew 5,000 revelers when it made its debut over Golden Week, leading the organisers to pencil in another edition for the autumn. Freaks Village is going to be a two-day affair, with space for 1,500 people to camp overnight, although the music will be getting turned off at 9pm (a bit prudish, that). Fabric resident Craig Richards is the biggest name on the bill so far, rubbing shoulders with the likes of versatile Canadian producer Mathew Jonson, San Francisco party boy extraordinaire DJ Garth and tough-as-nails English techno colossus Surgeon.
