Berlin pranksters Modeselektor supported Radiohead the last time they were in Tokyo, and Thom Yorke returned the favour by contributing vocals to a couple of tracks on 2011's intermittently fab Monkeytown album. Ever the genre magpies, this duo haven't stuck in one place for long enough to be easily pegged. Tech-electro-crunk-step? Call it what you will: Modeselektor have enough ammo in their bags for just about any party. They'll be demonstrating the full extent of their eclecticism when they play both live and DJ sets across two different rooms at Sound Museum Vision, complete with visuals by Pfadfinderei. You can also expect a strong showing of local talent, with live and DJ turns from Y. Sunahara, Eccy, Eli Walks and others in the main room, and the Diskotopia crew cranking up the bass next door.
