Hitsuji

Over the years, female three-piece Nisennenmondai have evolved from a noise rockers into something almost resembling a dance band, using their conventional guitar/bass/drums lineup to create hypnotic, tightly controlled motorik grooves. Now a regular fixture on the international tour circuit, the trio have earned a slew of admirers including Battles and James Murphy, who they supported at Eleven in late 2010. They'll be returning to the dancefloor this weekend for Club Asia's eclectic Hitsuji bash, alongside techno DJ Gonno and electronica duo Yosuke Fuyama × Yuta Yamada.
