Madchester Night 2011

Talk about good timing. First we had Primal Scream revisiting Screamadelica while Peter Hook and 808 State DJed in the other room at Sonicmania, now Japanese audiences are being treated to documentary Upside Down: The Creative Records Story, the tale of how lovable scamp Alan McGee helped shape the '90s British indie scene (and then royally cocked it all up). They couldn't have picked a better weekend to hold Madchester Night, in which DJs including Kenji Takimi, Duck Rock and Yoda revisit the heyday of indie dance and acid house.
