Maniac Beach 2011

It's slightly incongruous that one of the wildest beach parties of the summer takes place within walking distance of the venerable temples and shrines of Kamakura. Maniac Beach started life in 2003 as a spin-off of the much-missed Maniac Love club, whose one-time DJ Q'Hey has been a fixture at every edition of the event. Actually, there isn't much variation in the lineup from year to year, and Maniac Beach 2011 will be graced by repeat offenders including Ken Ishii, Dr. Shingo and Uiroh, plus A. Mochi and a 'Special Secret Guest' (please don't let it be Takkyu Ishino).
