For the latest edition of his long-running Motivation party, sunglass-sporting electro meister Towa Tei has invited a couple of the young tykes who picked up the baton from him. Keizomachine! is one half of Hifana, the visually enhanced beat combo seen rocking the main stage at last weekend's Big Beach Festival. DJ Maar, meanwhile, is part of Dexpistols, the deliriously dumb party-starting duo who have ascended to the highest echelons of Tokyo's club scene over the past few years. If you're looking for a night of serious music, look elsewhere; for pure party, though, this might take some beating.
