Croatia's Outlook Festival has claimed the mantle as Europe's premier celebration of dub and sound system culture, but we're still not entirely sure how it ended up getting its own warm-up party here in Tokyo. Whatever the reason, this launch event has swelled considerably in size from last year, moving from Eleven to bayside warehouse Tabloid and expanding to a two-day event. Head there on Saturday night for a bass-heavy brew of roots, ragga, dubstep and drum 'n' bass from a cast including Daddy Freddy, DJ Aki and the Part2Style Sound System. On Sunday, meanwhile, they'll be wheeling out guests including Solo Banton, Charlie P and veteran singer Horace Andy.
