You couldn't accuse Oscar de Rivera of being a slacker. The swarthy Spaniard is one of the daddies of the Madrid club scene, presiding over the action every Sunday evening at the long-running People party (yeah, people actually go clubbing on Sundays in Spain), and was recently in Valladolid celebrating the 9th anniversary of his Roombah event there. De Rivera doesn't stick to any one flavour of house in his DJ sets, incorporating subgenres from electro, deep and minimal to tribal, rustic and fragrant (okay, we made those last two up). He's the guest at the latest in Womb's seemingly never-ending Session parties, appearing alongside residents Ohnishi, Tommy Wada and Yoshi.
