Sterne

Many of the guests Takkyu Ishino invites to his monthly Sterne parties at Womb have already proved themselves at the Wire mega-rave that he organises in Yokohama each year. That's certainly true of Toktok, who played at the event on two consecutive years in the mid-2000s. Don't read too much into the fact that they haven't been back since: while this German production unit continue to release playful, bouncy house and techno cuts via their own Toktok Records, they don't play live as often as they used to. All of which is to say: miss this gig at your peril.
