Time Out says

Systematic label boss Marc Romboy likes to call his sound 'soulful techno', which serves as a handy way of distinguishing it from the austere music peddled by some of his minimal contemporaries. The Mönchengladbach-based DJ and producer started Systematic not long after Get Physical launched in Berlin, and it took a while for the label to escape the latter's considerable shadow. It got there in the end, though, and has provided an outlet for much of Romboy's own material, most recently a collaboration with Japanese techno king Ken Ishii, 'Taiyo'. Ishii won't be joining Romboy for his latest Tokyo date, but he's got solid support from local techno spinners Shin Nishimura and Go Hiyama, plus a live set by Fumihiko Takei aka A-Tech.
