After hogging the airwaves throughout the noughties with their poppy brand of hip-hop, the two founding members of M-Flo – Verbal and Taku Takahashi – have been spending more time pursuing solo projects recently. Barely a month after Verbal released his solo debut, Visionair, Takahashi dropped the first mix album for his new project, The Suitboys. In keeping with his recent DJ work, it's an infectious if not particularly edifying collection of lowest-common-denominator dancefloor fodder, but the release party promises to be just like old times, as Takahashi and Verbal go back-to-back at the podium.
