Timmy Regisford x Air

After releases by François K, Derrick May, Gilles Peterson, Dixon and Jazztronik, the latest mix CD on Air's Heartbeat label comes from the consistently clothing-averse Timmy Regisford. On his first mix CD in three years, the stalwart of the NYC underground house scene weaves productions by himself and fellow New Yorkers in amongst African house and cuts by the late KT Brooks and Fela Kuti. Regisford will be playing from open 'til close for the launch party at Air, and you can expect a celebratory mood: he's just put the finishing touches on the latest incarnation of his Shelter club back in New York, which recently moved to a new location.
