Marking the 40th birthday of publishing giant Kadokawa's movie-making arm, the National Film Centre looks back at the history of the production company that brought us flicks like Kon Ichikawa's The Inugamis, sci-fi romance anime The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and horror landmark The Ring. This exhibition consists of vintage posters, other PR materials and production paraphernalia – around 180 pieces in total – plus talks by the likes of film critic Masaaki Nomura (on August 20) and director Yoichi Sai (October 29).
