Sion Sono is now a major mainstream name (e.g. Shinjuku Swan and Tokyo Tribe), but the visionary director cut his teeth as an avant-garde auteur and enfant terrible of Japanese cinema. A more extensive version of his much-discussed exhibition at Koenji's Kita-Kore building last year, this one displays a whopping 500 storyboards from Hisohiso Boshi, Sono's new sci-fi take on the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster. You'll also be able to enjoy installations and an intro to the director's quirky 'happening art' piece, Hachiko Project.
