Time Out says

Italian cinema does not get enough recognition in Japan. The annual Italian Film Festival, held at the Asahi Hall in Yurakucho, seeks to introduce more people to the best Italian works, covering a wide range of genres including comedy, drama, thrillers and independent arthouse films. This year’s festival will feature 14 films from 2018 and 2019 that have never been shown in Japan. The festival will also pay tribute to Vittorio Taviani and Ermanno Olmi, two top directors who passed away last year, by showing six of their works.
