As 86-year-old filmmaker Roger Corman prepares to head the jury at this year's 25th Tokyo International Film Festival, Shin-Bungeiza is mounting its own tribute to the king of exploitation cinema. Saturday's all-night screening kicks off with a reprise of recent documentary Corman’s World: Exploits of a Hollywood Rebel, then moves on to a trio of films produced by the auteur's New World Pictures company: sci-fi schlock classic Death Race 2000 (1975), Ramones-featuring musical Rock 'n' Roll High School (1979) and 'women in prison' staple The Big Bird Cage (1972).
