Time Out says

Remembering pioneering experimental filmmaker and video artist Toshio Matsumoto, who passed away this year at the age of 85, Shibuya's Image Forum puts on a retrospective programme highlighting the Todai graduate and later academic's out-there cinema. It includes Funeral Parade of Roses (Bara no Soretsu, 1969), a challenging look at trans counterculture in '60s Tokyo, psychedelic 1969 short Extasis, Japan's first 'scanimation' film Mona Lisa (1973) and truly strange 1975 production Atman. See the website for programme details and screening times (in Japanese only).
