Not a fan of strong perfume or other invasive odours? Best stay far away from this Ikebukuro exhibition, which takes over the Parco Museum with a fearsome selection of smell sources. In addition to smelling fragrant ingredients such as deer musk and iris flowers, you can appraise the probably less than pleasant aromas of 'stink bugs', 'surströmming' (fermented Swedish herring) and stinky tofu – or even human feet. There will also be displays of various contraptions used to make perfume throughout the ages.
