Time Out says

Japanese video game giants display their latest creations at this annual extravaganza. The 2022 edition will be a hybrid event of online and in-person events. There will be a whopping 605 organisations from 37 different countries participating this year, ranging from smartphone games and eSports to indie games and VR. You can also expect to see the debut of several new games, which you’ll get to also test out.

If you’re attending the event at Makuhari Messe, make sure to visit the Game History Museum for a journey into the history of your favourite games. If you’re participating online, join the Tokyo Game Show via the Dungeon VR game and mingle with fellow fans. Tickets can be purchased via the website.
