Active Child/How To Dress Well

One of the standout tracks on You Are All I See, the debut album by LA's Pat Grossi (aka Active Child), was a collaboration with How to Dress Well's Tom Krell. It was a comfortable pairing: both artists specialise in a brand of songwriting that melds the melodicism of R&B and '80s pop with gauzy and ethereal electronica – and, in Grossi's case, the odd bit of harp. Listen carefully and you might hear the sound of angels quietly weeping when the pair share top billing at Unit, with support from Ponytail's Dustin Wong.
