Time Out says

Everyone knows that death metal's no fun without lots of headbanging and lyrics about vikings, and Amon Amarth would be inclined to agree. It's been two decades since this Swedish quintet first formed, taking their name from a geeky Tolkien reference, but they didn't hit the big time until the crossover success of 2008's monumental Twilight of the Thunder God. Last year's follow-up, Surtur Rising, maintained the group's winning streak while featuring some of their most full-throttle songs to date – expect the crowd to go absolutely nuts when the band play 'War of the Gods' and 'A Beast Am I' during this one-off Tokyo date.
