Arto Lindsay

Guitarist-singer and producer Arto Lindsay has made a three-decade-plus career out of confounding expectations, whether with his skronked-out No Wave trio, DNA, or with his mellifluous Brazilian-pop solo releases. Heading back to Tokyo on the back of Cuidado Madame, his first album dedicated entirely to new material in 13 years, Lindsay will be blending tropicalia with samba and bossa nova rhythms, electronics-driven grooves and even noise at Shibuya's WWW, where guitar rockers Ogre You Asshole are set to take up a supporting role.
