Benten Rockers 10

Each year, punk-as-fuck Enoshima diner and gig venue Oppa-la kisses goodbye to summer with a free all-day party held on a dusty stretch of land right next to the ocean. The lineup doesn't change much each year, featuring the likes of dub reggae band Super Dumb and hardcore stalwarts Smash Your Face, culminating in a set by local jam band heroes Freaky Machine. With Oppa-la also celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the event should have an extra festive buzz to it – just pray the sun is on their side.
