A year ago, the rock music world was surprised by the debut of the London-based band Black Midi. With four members aged only 19 and 20, the band has shown their creativity and versatility with a series of sold-out live performances in the UK and the US.
Major American music media ‘Pitchfork’ praised the band’s performance in SXSW and New York, raving at length about the precision, stoicism and originality with which the band approach music. With the release of their new debut album ‘Schlagenheim’ on June 21, Black Midi will continue to garner more fans, including those in Japan.
