Time Out says

UPDATE: This year's Blue Note Jazz Festival in Japan has been cancelled. See more details here.

New York's top jazz fest makes another excursion to Yokohama, setting up a stage at the Red Brick Warehouse in September for big-time artists including Steely Dan frontman Donald Fagen, who'll be appearing with his Nightflyers band, and indomitable genre innovator Kamasi Washington, who along with Robert Glasper has reinvigorated contemporary jazz and garnered plenty of attention in Japan with his ambitious 2015 debut, The Epic. Graceful and thoroughly unpretentious UK singer Lianne La Havas, pianist Hiromi Uehara, who is set to join hands with harp player Edmar Castaneda, and young gun Jacob Collier should also be among the highlights. Check out the full lineup here.
