'Without an annual trip to Japan, Incognito's year would feel incomplete,' declares Jean-Paul 'Bluey' Maunick, the guitarist and composer who's led these acid jazz pioneers since 1979. It seems that a lot of local fans feel the same way: tickets are running out fast for these four Christmas gigs at Yokohama's Motion Blue. The UK-based veterans last appeared on these shores as recently as September (at the Blue Note Jazz Festival), but we guess there can never be too much of their goodness.
