Time Out says

Flag-bearers of the original, melodic, early 1990s 'Gothenburg sound' of death metal originating from the Swedish city of the same name, Dark Tranquillity truly deserve to be called veterans of the genre. Their critically praised 2013 album Construct was the inspiration behind this world tour, which now lands in Tokyo for a night before moving on to Nagoya and Osaka. This gig will also see an appearance by death metal supergroup The Resistance, formed by ex-In Flames guitarist Jesper Strömblad and featuring former members from both Grave and The Haunted. If raw, honest metal is your cup of tea, then make sure to head over to O-East on March 18.
