Everything Happens for a Reason

It's hard to know where to start with a lineup like this. A world-class selection of improvisers will be ganging up at SuperDeluxe this month for a bumper session, with contributions from veteran free jazz saxophonist/trumpet player Joe McPhee, noise artist Lasse Marhaug, drummer Paal Nilssen-Love, multi-instrumentalist Yoshihide Otomo and more. Those who'd prefer to catch McPhee in a less crowded setting might do better with his Pit Inn shows later in the week, but full full-on improv overload, this is the one to beat.
