Foundland (James Blackshaw)

Gifted fingerstyle guitarist James Blackshaw heads to Japan for a string of dates this month in support of his latest album, the cheerily titled Love is the Plan, the Plan is Death. His gig at Vacant – a venue particularly well suited to hushed, meditative performances such as this – features support from singular local singer-songwriters Eiko Ishibashi and Ichiko Aoba.
